Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer from the airport to your hotel
On your arrival in Kathmandu, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu - Pokhara (900 m)
Take a tourist bus to Pokhara (826m), which normally takes about 6 hours. Spend the night in a deluxe hotel in the Lakeside area.
Day 03: Pokhara - Nayapul (beginning of the trek) - Tikhedhunga (1,577 m)
Drive to Nayapul (1,050 m) by car. After lunch and a short recess, trek to Tikhedhunga (1,577 m) and spend the night in a local teahouse.
Day 04: Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani (2,875 m)
Trek to Ghorepani (2875 m), which takes about 5-6 hours, and stay overnight at a local teahouse. On your way lies Ulleri village where friendly Pun people live a very simple life. Enjoyable views of mountains will help you ease your walk.
Day 05: Ghorepani - Poonhill (3,210 m) - Tadapani (2,600 m)
Wake up very early in the morning and hike up to Poonhill (3,210 m), which takes roughly 1 hour. If the weather is fine, you can enjoy an outstanding view of the sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayan range. Around twenty different mountain peaks (including Dhaulagiri) are also visible from there – no wonder the place is regarded as one of the best viewpoints. After enjoying the sunrise, you will descend back to Ghorepani (approximately 1 hour) and have breakfast. After a short recess, resume trekking for about 5 hours to reach Tadapani (2,600 m). You will be spending yet another night in a local teahouse.
Day 06: Tadapani - Ghandruk (1,950 m)
Trek for about 3 hours and arrive at Ghandruk (1,950 m) mainly through forests, probably the easiest segment of the entire trip. After lunch, you can explore the village, inhabited mainly by the Gurung community. You can also visit the local museum as well as a monastery. Spend the night in a local teahouse.
Day 07: Ghandruk - Pokhara
Trek down to Nayapul (1,050 m) in about 4 hours. It takes about 1 hour to drive to Pokhara. Explore the city in the afternoon, take a refreshing walk in the Lakeside area, and spend the night in your hotel room.
Day 08: Pokhara - Kathmandu
Drive back to Kathmandu or if you wish, board a flight (approximately 45 minutes) by paying about USD 110 extra. In the evening, we will take you out for a farewell dinner at one of the renowned restaurants in Kathmandu offering authentic Nepalese dishes and a live cultural show. After dinner, we will drive you back to your hotel in Kathmandu.
