Pokhara Valley is located at an altitude of 915m above sea level and 200m west of Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Nepal's second-most popular tourist destination, Pokhara is undoubtedly the country's adventure capital. The richness of natural beauty is the characteristic attraction of Pokhara. The town is overshadowed by a massive wall of the Annapurna peak and other Himalayan ranges, and is dominated by the majestic peak of the Annapurna range. Even more impressive is the fish-tailed pinnacle of Mt. Machhapuchhre (6977 m). For the more adventurous person, the massif of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) waits to be explored. Pokhara is the starting point of many popular and famous treks in Nepal in the Annapurna region.

Highlight

  • Get transported from bustling Kathmandu and escape to the quiet town of Pokhara with your partner.
  • Spectacular view of Annapurna and fishtail himalayan range
  • City of lakes, explore around the lake as much as u want

Places of Interest

Lake Fewa

The second biggest lake in the kingdom, this is the focal point of fascination in Pokhara. The eastern shore, prominently known as Lakeside, or Baidam, is the most loved hangout for explorers, and is the place the vast majority of the lodgings, eateries, and craftsmanship shops are found.

Lake Begnas

The lake offers the ideal normal withdraw as a result of its relative isolation. Mind-blowing sculling and angling opportunities can be had here.

Devi's Fall

Locally known as "Pataley Chhango", this is a magnificent waterfall lying around two km. southwest of Pokhara airport. Legend has it that a trekker (Devin David… .) was washed away by the Pardi Khola (waterway) and strangely vanished down into an underground section underneath the fall.

Seti Gandaki

Flowing directly through the city, this turbulent waterway runs totally underground in spots. Incredibly, at specific points, the stream barely seems, by all accounts, to be two meters wide, yet it is very profound, up to more than 45 meters.

Mahendra Cave

Another of nature's miracles in Pokhara is the Mahendra Gupha. This huge limestone cave is privately known as the place of bats, which is a well-suited name for it. A two-hour stroll to the north of Pokhara, it is best to bring your own light to see the stalactites and stalagmites, and also the nearby winged inhabitants.

Barahi Temple

The most essential religious landmark in Pokhara, assembled practically amidst Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is devoted to the goddess Ajima, the protectress god who represents the female principle.
