You want to experience trekking in Nepal but if you are bounded by a limited time period then Annapurna Circuit short Trekking suits you the best. It is a modified form of Annapurna Circuit Trekking. It is a traditional trekking site that has been endangered due to contemporary expansions. During the course of your trail, you will witness the fine-looking scenes of forests, mountains, hills, and wildlife. Annapurna Circuit short trekking covers four districts of Nepal namely Kaski, Lamjung, Manang, and Mustang.

The preparatory point of Annapurna Circuit Trekking is Jagat. It is around a nine to ten-hour drive from Kathmandu. Tourists are attracted by the natural beauties that are seen on the way to Jagat which compels them to cherish it forever. Hindus reside in the lower section whereas Buddhists are seen residing in the upper region of the Annapurna area. Unlike other destinations, Muktinath seems to be the favorite among many tourists. It is a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. Muktinath is situated at an altitude of 3,800m above sea level. Devotees from Nepal, Tibet, and India are seen worshipping here. It is believed that worshipping in Muktinath frees you from the chain of birth and death.

Annapurna Circuit short Trek Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Adventure White Mountain Will receive you at the international airport of Nepal, Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. Today you can enjoy Thamel as it is one of the cream touring sites of Kathmandu. Tourists believe that Nepal visit is incomplete without visiting Thamel. You will spend the night in a hotel. 

Day 2

Kathmandu sightseeing

 The real fun begins from today as you get chance to witness at least four UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. You visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhunath Stupa and Bouddhanath Stupa. Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is regarded as Historic City and Kathmandu Durbar Square is a lively example that speaks about the history of this nation. The site covers five acres of land. Hanuman Dhoka, Swoyambhunath, Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath are the main place of our visit today. We will spend a night in a hotel.

Day 3

Drive from Kathmandu to Jagat

 A drive for around ten hours from Kathmandu will take you Jagat. You will be fascinated by the observing the countryside of the beautiful country. The living style of people attracts you quite well. Overnight in Jagat.

Day 4

Jagat to Dharapani

 We will have our breakfast and then move towards Manang district. You will see the various natural beauty of Nepal. You encounter different crops such as wheat, barley, potatoes on the way. Just before arriving at Dharapani we cross a village named Kodo. ‘Kodo’ is a popular crop of Nepal. Overnight in Dharapani.

Day 5

Dharapani to Chame

 The mind-blowing view in between trail to Chame from Dharapani excites you well. You get a lifetime chance to sightsee Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV on your route. You can refresh by taking a hot spring bath at Chame.

Day 6

Chame to Upper Pisang

 Today’s trail is slightly harsh. You go through constricted and steep valley. After walking for some distance, you can see pretty looking Paungda Dada. From Paungda Dada the view of Annapurna II at south and Pisang peak at north-east is clearly visible. Following the downhill trail, we arrive at Manang valley. Upper Pisang will be our final destination for tonight.

Day 7

Upper Pisang to Manang

 To get the pure visibility of Annapurna, Pisang Peak and many other beautiful mountains we follow the trail of Geru. Barge monastery is the biggest monastery of Manang district. We will visit the monastery and spend a night at Manang. 

Day 8

Manang: Acclimatization day

 Today is a day to rest. It is a day provided to you to adjust your body temperature with the increasing temperature. It helps you to make comfortable and not fall sick. Even though it is a rest day we will go for a hiking today. We will either travel to Gangapurna Lake or Bhojo Gumba.

Day 9

Manang to Yak Kharka/Ledar

 The very first destination for today is Tenki village. To arrive at jarsang Khola we further proceed. Our next breakpoint is Ghunsa. On your way, you will be lucky enough to see Yaks and Horses. Walking further ahead takes us to Yak Kharka. To spend a night we walk for about an hour and arrive at Ledar.

Day 10

Yak Kharka to High Camp

 The instant destination for today is Thorang Phedi. Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, Mt. Khatungkan can be viewed from our route. An hour walk from Thorang Phedi leads us to High camp where we halt tonight. 

Day 11

High Camp to Muktinath and drive to Jomsom

 We have to cross Thorang La Pass to get to Muktinath. It is regarded as one of the world’s tallest pass. We will follow an easy trail to cross Thorang La Pass. The way from Manang to Muktinath is somehow an easy route. We need to wake up early in the dawn at around 3:00 am to cross Thorang La Pass. The more you move ahead towards the top the more you feel ecstatic. The lens of your camera doesn’t forget to capture this precious moment while heading towards Muktinath. Muktinath is a shrine for both Hindu and Buddhist. They worship here in a belief to get a pure blessing and to get rid of the chain of birth and death. Our next destination is Jomsom. We spend a night here.

Day 12

Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara

 We will take a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara which is our destination for today. The 20 minutes scenic flight from Jomsom will land you to Pokhara. On your flight, you get an opportunity to have a mountain view, lakes, and plains. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 13

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

 Today, after breakfast it is time for us to get back to Kathmandu. The same route will be followed that led us to Pokhara. In the evening, the staff of Adventure White Mountain will accompany you for your farewell dinner which will be offered for successfully completing the trip.

Includes

  • Costs related to all airport and hotel transfers. Domestic flights and airport departure taxes.
  • Accommodation: Basic teahouse accommodation during the trek (Toilet and bathroom will be outside of the room; Deluxe accommodation for 2 nights in Kathmandu; Tourist class hotel for 1 nights in Pokhara·         
  • Meals: 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which you can choose from the menu) during the trek; breakfast in Kathmandu and Pokhara
  • Equipment/Accessories: Down jacket, sleeping bags, first-aid kit, water purifying solution (iodine-based)
  • Documentation: Trekking permit (Annapurna Conservation Area Project entry permit) and Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) card
  • Human assistance: A professional and experienced trekking guide (English-speaking); a porter per two trekkers (carrying up to 25 kg); all the expenses for the guide and porter(s) are covered (wages, accommodation, meals, transportation, insurance, etc.)
  • Emergency Rescue Service: Should an emergency arise during your trek, we will provide prompt and professional rescue and medical services. However, you must be already insured for such emergencies, and your insurance policy must cover helicopter evacuation. Moreover, you should provide your policy details and authorize us to deal directly with your insurance company on your behalf.

As a government-registered trekking and travel company, we feel it is in our best interest to offer the best possible services to our national and international customers. While striving to maintain a high quality of service and competitiveness, we have put forward these conditions that will benefit you when you select to travel with us in Nepal. These conditions are applicable when you book with us directly.

General

For tours within Nepal and Bhutan, you should pay a non-refundable 20% of the total cost at the time of booking. For tours in Tibet, the booking cost is 50%; and the rest can be paid at our office in Nepal before starting the trek.

Travel Insurance

A travel insurance is mandatory in Nepal. And even if it is not by some authorities, we recommend that you have one. A comprehensive travel insurance package is required to cover medical expenses, emergency evacuations, accidents, cancellations, loss or theft of personal property such as electronic items and luggage, among others. Adventure White Mountain is not liable for the damage and loss of your personal effects.

Risk and Liabilities

We will notify you of any change in travel regulations in Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet but we cannot be held responsible for unknown restrictions, disasters, adverse political activities, delay, accident and/or sickness. Costs incurred in such circumstances is your liability. A good way to do it is to mention it to your travel insurance company.

Change of Price

Adventure White Mountain reserves the right to make slight changes in price in terms with foreign currency exchange rates, economic inflation or government actions.

Last-minute Booking

While last-minute booking is not available for Bhutan and Tibet, we can arrange it for treks in Nepal. With full payment, you can book with us just seven days ahead of the tour date.

Tour Cancellation

If you want to cancel your trip, you should inform us in writing 14 days ahead of the tour date. The cancellation charge is USD 180; but if you do not wish to pay the cancellation charge, you can transfer the trip to a person of your choice. In case of Bhutan and Tibet, the cancellation charge is 20 to 50 percent and you should write to us at least 30 days ahead of the tour date.

Tours not Completed

Adventure White Mountain is not liable for refunds for tours not completed due to personal reasons. However, in situations of unforeseen circumstances such as disasters, political blockades and/or adverse weather conditions, we will arrange another trip for you instead.

Tour Postponed

If you want to postpone your trip, you should inform us in writing at least 30 days ahead of the tour date. The postpone charge is USD 120 and the rest is transferred for a later date. In the case of Bhutan and Tibet, the postpone charge is 20 to 50 percent of the total.

Flight Delays & Cancellation

In many parts of Nepal flight delays are common; and in really bad weather, the flights are canceled altogether. For such days, you should carry extra money for accommodation and food.
