Best time of the year to go on Tilicho Lake Trek
The best time to go to Tilicho Lake Trek is from March to April and October to November. Spring and Autumn have the most stable weather and moderate climate to do trekking in the Himalayas. The views of mountains and the overall surrounding area are fantastic in these two seasons.
Trekkers from all around the world hit different trekking routes in the Annapurna Himalayas in spring & autumn. The temperature varies from 18°C to 5°C. You may feel colder at the higher elevation.
Tilicho Lake Trek difficulty
Tilicho Lake Trek's difficulty is moderate to challenging. The isolation of the region from the rest of the country has made the overall trek more difficult than it should be. Of course, the trail is rugged and has numerous ascends & descends throughout the trek. You have to be able to walk 6 to 7 hours a day. There are many steep sections too.
Along with that, the bare minimum facilities and high elevation add up to the difficulty level of Tilicho Lake Trekking. You have to be careful of altitude sickness and its symptoms. Trekkers usually suffer from altitude sickness during high elevation ventures if their bodies do not acclimate properly.

The electricity and charging facility during the Tilicho Lake Trekking is good. Every lodge or teahouse has its charging stations that you can use to charge your devices, paying a few extra bucks. Similarly, many trekkers carry a solar charger or bank with them. Spare batteries will also come in very handy.
Sim Card & WiFi
Internet service may not be stable all the time because of high elevation and fluctuating weather. You may get WiFi service at the lower elevation. Luggage
We will give you the packing list that will help you to buy or rent trekking clothing and gear. During the Tilicho Lake Trek, we use a duffel bag to pack all the heavy clothing and essentials. The duffel bags are carried by the porters. Every trekker has a weight limit of 15 kgs. Usually, trekkers store their excess luggage in the hotel's locker room while trekking.
