Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour
It was a pleasure meeting with Mr. Dipak Sapkota. We had an Everest Helicopter tour on the 4th of May. The weather was clear. The life long memory of Everest was mesmerizing. Wonderful time spent around the hotel. We were chatting with the other tourists about their experience in Nepal. Everyone said that the Nepalese people were friendly, and honest. Thank you for everything.
unforgettable Experience
A Must-Do Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with Adventure White Mountain.
Firstly, I’d like to wholeheartedly recommend the Adventure White Mountain Agency to anyone seeking an extraordinary helicopter flight experience with a breathtaking view of Mount Everest. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to making this dream come true made them the ideal choice for those looking to create lifelong memories.
Secondly, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. The whole thing experience was truly exceptional. From the moment I reached out to inquire about the helicopter flight, Dipak who is the owner of the agency exhibited a remarkable level of professionalism, attentiveness, and passion for providing exceptional care. The guidance and support I received throughout the entire process were unparalleled, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
The experience itself, the Mount Everest Helicopter fight left me speechless. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the mountain so close, and a carefully curated itinerary ensured that I had the best possible vantage points to take in this magnificent wonder of the world. The attention to detail in every aspect of the trip was commendable.
Last but not least, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Dipak, the agency owner and the person behind this remarkable travel agency. Your passion for adventure and commitment to providing unforgettable experiences and making dreams true shines through. Your personal touch and dedication to creating memorable journeys are truly admirable.
Once again, thank you for the incredible experience. I eagerly look forward to the opportunity to embark on another adventure with Dipak and Adventure White Mountain Agency in the future.
Everest Base Camp Trek
Dipak and Shambu were exceptional in organizing our Everest-based Camp Trek with a return by helicopter. They were very flexible and adapted the itinerary as we went, upon our request. I cannot recommend them enough - you can rely on them to give you the best possible experience.
As for the tour, the views are breathtaking and get better with every day going up. The trek itself is not very physically demanding, especially with a Sherpa carrying our stuff. However, do not underestimate it - the difficulty comes from the altitude, especially after passing above 4500m, where hiking seemingly just a few kilometers suddenly takes hours of slow crawling. Make sure to be well-acclimatized and to take it easy for the best experience.
Taking the helicopter down provides amazing views of the Everest region from above and allows you to shorten the trek by a couple of days, essentially avoiding backtracking your steps down. If you have little time, it's a perfect option
Everest Base Camp Trek
Best trek I have ever done. It starts off with one of the most exhilarating small plane rides into the world's most dangerous airport (Lukla) it is literally a runway on the side of a mountain that ends when the mountain does, it's wild !!! After that is a 6-8 day trip up to base camp depending on your level of fitness, and how long you spend acclimatizing in a place like Namche Bazar. I 100% recommend that Dipak takes care of everything and is the guide/manager you want when you are about to navigate through some of the highest altitude hikes in the world.
Once in a lifetime experience
I travel extensively but never do any reviews on Tripadvisor. I feel this is the one experience that I had to write about. I've been looking to book this tour for a little while, so I've been doing extensive research on which company or agency to book this with. I came across adventure white mountain and decided to book with them. As with any booking of this type, there's an element of risk because you really can't ever be sure how things will work out. But this was handled by Dipak (owner) in a very professional way, starting from the time the trip was booked all the way to the final pickup from the airport once the helicopter came back from Lukla airport (Lukla is a stop on the way to Everest base camp). It was very easy to communicate with Dipak and he also met with us the day before the trip to go over details and answer any questions. We ran into a small delay on the return flight from Hotel Everest view, but that was due to air traffic and weather so this cannot be controlled by the agency. Overall I rate this experience 10/10. Highly recommend Dipak and adventure white mountain.
Everest Base Camp Trek
On April 25th, we ( me and my friends ) successfully completed our Trek with Adventure White Mountain. The trek was fabulous. We were really surprised by the warm hospitality and honesty shown by Mr. Dipak Sapkota, guides, hotel owners, and Nepalese people on the trail.
He guided and helped us throughout the trek. Thank you so much for everything. We are happy to book the EBC trek with your company.Everest Base Camp Trek return by Helicopter
I contacted Dipak the organizer 12 days before my start date for a custom trip (one-way Kathmandu-EBC trek in a short 6 days, return by helicopter day 7, 1 buffer day) and everything happened and went smoothly. Pre-trip, I can say that Dipak's response time is super quick (once you meet him, you'll understand and definitely forgive the fact that he's always on his phone), that his English is good, and that he has enough mountain experience to be able to make a good custom plan (he was a porter then guide then organizer). He's even a man of his word: he made the mistake of forgetting to tell me about the credit card fee in his quote and spontaneously waived that fee for me.
Once in Kathmandu, the company does a very good job at hospitality. My trekking guide came to meet me at the airport, not just a driver. He later came to chat with me in Kathmandu after the trek was over. For my later city day tours, my city guide came to meet me the day before. Finally, I met with Dipak several times during my stay in Kathmandu and he paid for several meals to chat and make sure that my trip was going as well as possible.
Dipak always says to be flexible in the schedule. It turns out he is very well connected with the helicopter companies flying to Lukla and Kala Patthar (heli rides are his main business) and this proved to be a real advantage to me as a trekker. First, he managed to fly me from Kathmandu to Lukla in the afternoon when there were no more regularly scheduled flights so that I could start my trek a day earlier. Then he managed to fit me in an early morning return flight from Kala Patthar, avoiding the crowds and potential bad weather. In the end, my 1 buffer day became 2.5 days to enjoy Kathmandu thanks to Dipak's efforts.
My guide Dilli was super knowledgeable, approachable, helpful, and flexible. He was definitely on my side trying to make my trek as good as possible (and he was definitely not trying to drain money out of me like I've had other guides do). No hiccup in the organization and Dilli's flexibility allowed me to get good weather pictures from Kala Patthar compared to if we had gone with the original itinerary. We didn't have the same photo tastes but that's my personal opinion.
The day tours in Kathmandu after my trek went well too and were a nice bonus to my stay in Nepal. My guide was in no way pressuring me into time or purchases. A few viewpoints were chosen on rooftops of shops/restaurants that probably had some kickback but I felt that that was reasonable.
Finally, the EBC trek is of course worth it for the views. I've done many international treks (Machu Picchu, Kilimanjaro, Torres del Paine), and the views from Kala Patthar and this trek in general are my favorite. Squeezing it in 6 days is only for people with prior experience of favorable quick acclimatization and of averaging 1000+m/3000+feet of elevation gain per day including pm acclimatization hikes. Otherwise do the regular 8-9 days ascent.
