Though you need to walk around 7 hours in very steep terrain in a day. En route, you may face a number of uphill sections. For common people walking around 7 hours a day at an altitude of 3210 m is not that much easy. So some of the difficulties you may face during the trek are

- Do not rush yourself up while hiking, go through the planned itinerary.

Mode of Transportation during the trek
Well, first of all, we have facilities for airport pick up and drop to make your trip more convenient. For this trek, from Kathmandu to Pokhara you will drive in a private tourist bus/car/van. But if you want to go by plane then you can reach Pokhara within 45 minutes as well. Then again you will return back to Kathmandu by private car/van or tourist bus.
Electricity and Charging Facilities
Well, during this trek you need not be worried about your mobile or camera batteries. You will easily get electricity and charging facilities in accommodation. Though you need to carry some extra battery if you have for the backup in case the electricity goes off for some reason.
Sim Cards and WiFi
As you arrive at the airport you can buy Nepali 4G sim cards and Data Packages to stay connected with your loved ones. The data connection in city areas is good but as you will take off for the trek at a higher altitude you may face a problem in the network. Likewise, in city Hotels, you may get free WiFi but you may need to pay extra bucks for WiFi during the trek at Tea houses/hotels.
Luggage
The main luggage during the trek will be duffel bags which will be carried by porters. Every two members of the group will have one porter. The porter carries 10 to 11 kgs of load for each person. You will carry your bag packs in which your camera, batteries, charger, snacks, and other miscellaneous stuff will be carried. You can keep some extra clothes and other stuff in the locker room of the Hotel free of cost.
Child Policy
Well, if your age is under 18 then to trek up to Ghorepani Poon Hill you need to be accompanied by your own guardian/identified adult. Tipping to Crew Members
Well, it’s been culture to give tips to the crew member at the very end of the trip. Though is it up to you if you want to give tips to crew members we do suggest tipping if you like the services during the trek. Every member of the group can tip USD 5 each to the tour guide, USD 2 to the driver, and USD 100 each to the trek guide (divided between guide and porter).
Personal Expenses
Personal Expenses are totally excluded from the cost of the packages. Shopping, extra stay at hotel, snacks, beverages, etc. are not included in the package cost. Similarly, you might spend hot showers during the trail, charging devices, which are not included in the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek package cost. Insurance, Rescue, Evacuation
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek isn't that high altitude remote area but people with less physical activity may find it a bit difficult to acclimatize. There is no big hospital during the trial so, you need to aware of that. In case of emergency, the best possible way to get yourself medicated is by air evacuation (Helicopter Charter) which may cost a huge amount of money if you haven’t done your insurance. So, we highly suggest you get travel insurance first which embraces air evacuation, medical bills, flight cancellation, and lost/theft personal properties.
